Alive and kicking: an update.

My dear friend Barb (who is apparently the Blog Gestapo) has kindly (and not-so kindly, actually) reminded me that I haven’t updated my blog since July. Oops. Time flies when you’re having fun, yes?

Of course, lots has happened since July — because, let’s face it, there have been lots of days between now and then. Let’s see. We had a family vacation to Colorado in August. I spent a week in San Antonio in September. And I’m heading to CKC-Seattle next week, for a wee little scrapping getaway. Travel was one of my goals for the year, and travel I did. I think I’d like to have that as a goal for next year, too!! :) Europe would be good!

Life is good right now. Very good. Work is going well. I have renewed energy and a new focus thanks to my trip to San Antonio last month. It was a work-related conference, and I walked out of it inspired, refreshed and renewed. And I met some really amazing new friends from Washington state.

The kids are also doing well. School is much better this year than last. Reilly should be taking his Black Belt test in Tae Kwon Do on December 1st. (Go, Reilly!!) Meghan has become a little environmentalist. She recently convinced her TKD instructor to install a recycle bin in the studio. I’m so very proud of her for standing up for a cause!

My scrap mojo has also seemed to reappear. I don’t know where it went for the last 8 months, but it has finally returned. I’m also hanging out (online, of course) with some fabulous girls at Scrap In Style TV.

If you haven’t ever been there before, I encourage you to check it out. Lots of fun and lots of inspiration to be had! (Note to any SISters from the “I need an article of clothing” thread that might be reading this. Check out my little mood person over there –> Nice beret, ey?? No footballs on it, though.)
